Hi there. Can anyone help?? My son scored NVR 137 NV 127 Maths 114 and failed. I understand he needed 115 in the third paper to pass and therefore failed by one point.
Can anyone advise, help re next stage?? as from what I understand his scores are pretty high for a failure???
Many thanks

Hi lladnar,

Sorry to hear your news. Your son score is so close to the pass mark!
You need to tell us the region/LA you come from.

Sorry, lladnar, I don't know the Kent system.
You should contact the LA etither by phone (may be difficult today!) or by email.
Once you know how to proceed, come back to the forum if you need advice on how to present your case.

All the best

Hi

My son also sat a Kent test and has failed but we don't have his scores only the school offer - how did you find out the scores?

We got our allocation of the school online this morning, then when we took our son up to school we spoke with the head teacher. As he knew we knew our son hadnt passed he could give us the info. He has a print out of the scores.

Hello Lladnar
I think that when you get the allocation letter from Kent CC tomorrow they will include appeal details in the package.

Forgot to mention:

In the mean time, you can read the 11+ Appeals Questions & Answers here:

http://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/11plus ... nswers.php

and as much of the 'Appeals' section of the forum as possible.

The apeal procedure varies from region to region, and also the success rate  , but the essence of what a panel is looking for is common to all.
