appeal coming up

Hi all
I thought i would start a new thread for those of us who are following each others progress.This may be helpful to people in a similar situation, now or in the future.
My appeal is on Friday
To sum up my case we are Ooc and DD has 118/120. HT report 1-2 and states she's a bright girl. SATS currently working at are : Reading 5b Maths 5B Science 5B [Writing don't know] these are based on Dec/Jan results of mock tests.HT prediction in Nov was English 5C Science 5B Maths 5A. This is below where her prediction should be reference her mocks. So requested letter stating this from head and got it.TOP TIP for Ooc parents don't just believe what the school is telling you. Keep asking and badgering them because half the time they just don't know precisely how your child is doing.[especially if you have a no issues bright child] My HT certainly does now.
As an Ooc parent we have very little else in the way of evidence or extenuating circumstances. We have a fairly good Year 5 report[out of 10 I would say 6 or 7] A few certificates for reading and spelling and that's it. We left out all the sporty and nonacademic stuff as we intend to try and focus panel on the few academic positives we have.
Anyway good luck to everyone and i really appreciate everything Sally Anne and Etienne on this site has done to help me.
We will post our experience on the feedback section on Friday and post the results here next week.
