Complaints about academies are now handled by the EFA on behalf of the Secretary of State.

Don't you think that says it all? What kind of title is that? As if 'young people'? (do they mean children?) need an 'agent' to handle their 'learning'. What have we come to? Staff who send out incomprehensible letters to people whose children's futures depend on them on the one hand (don't they read them through, and at some point ask themselves, 'does this make sense?');and an 'agency' to deal with learning on the other. I despair.

I'm so sorry to read this marble run and bear. You poor, poor things. I can't begin to imagine the agony you're going through. Ijust hope that it can all be resolved in your favour tomorrow!

It's a yes.

Monday morning and I feel exhausted already.

Soon it will have sunk in and I'll feel great but not quite yet!!!

Hi everyone,

thank you so much for all your support!

YES!!!! It is a Yes!!!!! I cannot begin to describe how relieved and happy I feel!

What an absolute roller-coaster and one of the longest weekends imaginable!!

KCC said the 'NOT' should not have been there and they do not know how the error occurred and are apparently sending out new letters today

Thanks again everyone, your support means an awful lot and really could not have kept going without you all MB xx

Well done - I bet someone is going to be in trouble this morning for sending out these letters. Just awful but fantastic news that you got the desired result!
