Re: Appeal decision letter - Trafford
I am so happy for you. What a lovely end to a very long process. I hope she had a great day today.
Its funny but Altrincham boys had a similar thing in having places available at the last minute too although that was last day of term in July. Maybe it is a knock on effect from all the sucessful appeals at Sale GS or perhaps they have gone for 7 smaller forms due to four appeals being sucessful.

She's had a fab day, thanks. They haven't put on a 7th form but I think they may have made the other 6 up to 30 as a result of the 4 successful appeals. I was also told that one person had moved from the area so think they must have offered 3 very last minute places. I know of 1 girl other than our daughter who was offered a place yesterday.

Wow wow wow! That is amazing news. It certainly makes sense to have classes of 30. I bet your daughter is so happy to be with her big sister!

She certainly is and what's more surprising is that big sis is so happy to have her at the same school! It's been heartwarming to see her looking out for her wee sister.
