appealing due to illness on exam day?

Hi, I wondered if anybody could advise me on whether its worth appealing to GS for my DD. She has just been allocated her 4th choice (state school) and missed out on the GS. On the day of her 11+ exam she had a terrrible cold, I did mention this to the staff on entry. Because of this sneezing and constantly blowing her nose she didnt finish the paper and missed out the last page... Her score was 319.5! I believe her score reflected her illness that day and know if she had been well she would have finished the paper and obviously gained a better score.

Is it worth appealing to Colchs (1st choice) or WHSG (2nd choice).
Thanks

hi bobberly

Sorry to hear about the news you got this morning - best to have a read of the appeals faq : http://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/appeals/general" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

however think you should pay special attention to http://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/appeal ... cation#b25" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
