Kent appeal

I was given information about this forum by a friend. My dd got 368 on her tests 133 vr, 124 nvr and 111 maths. Having started to come to terms with this unexpected result i hope you all could give me some advice. The HT has recommended I appeal after her failed HT appeal, on the basis she is a grammar school girl (works hard and puts in all the necessary effort, will thrive in the grammar school environment) and this was a blip on the day - she is level 5 reading and writing and was 4a in maths at the end of year 5 (having gone from a 3b to a 4a in that Year 5.) I have been reading some of the posts and don't understand the 2.1 and 1.1 numbers that some people have put? She has been striving for Invicta all along - do we think this is realistic - would appreciate any advice.

Hi Macavity

The 2.1, 1.1 is something that is used in Bucks - so don't worry about it in Kent. have you read the FAQ here http://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/appeals" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ?

The most important thing is good academic evidence.
