Changing school between 11+ and appeal

Post by twellsmum »

Does anyone know if a child sits the 11+ at School A and then moves to School B, will School B be allowed to present evidence at any subsequent appeal hearing that the child is of grammar school standard, notwithstanding that they will only have taught the child for a matter of months.

(Sorry I missed this yesterday)

The less time a child has been at School B, the more cautious they might be in what they are willing to write .......
but any up-to-date evidence of how the child has been performing should be fine.
A couple of weeks at School B might be problematic, but they ought to be able to come up with something after a couple of months.

You are fully entitled to present new evidence, and the panel has a duty to consider it.

Leave it as late as possible - but not too late! See:
