Confusing test scores!

Hi, can anyone help me with advice. My daughter recently sat her 11+, got results today, she failed. Now i was expecting a low score on the VR as she told me she left out 20-30 questions, and we pretty much thought it was all over, we let her do the NVR as she is very strong on this paper and i wanted her to finish her 11+ experience on a high knowing she would feel happy coming out of this paper, which she was, she did everything and was really confident with what she had done. In the practise test NVR she completed the paper in about half the time and when marking only got 3 questions wrong, this was confirmed by an authority figure in the room (wont go into details) but i know, confirmed, that she did really well as i expected. On getting her results today of the official test she has scored higher in the VR than in her NVR which has left me at somewhat of a loss, considering this is her strong paper and i know how she struggled with the VR. I was unsure wether she would gain the qualifying mark between the 2 papers but i was sure she would blitz the NVR. Am i allowed to request to see the NVR paper to give me some peace of mind. My DD is too at a loss as she was looking forward to seeing her score in this test.

I'm afraid most admission authorities tend to say 'No', as exam papers are exempt from the Data Protection Act and you have no legal right to see the paper in question.

You could try asking - and also enquire about the possibility of a re-mark.

Suggest you first try whoever organised the 11+.
(This could be the LA, the school, or a consortium.)
