With my letter today signifying a successful appeal outcome, I have come to the end of the 11+ process with DD2.

I would like to thank everyone who contributes to this forum, whose advice is invaluable. Long may the forum continue. I have no doubt that I will continue to frequent the site as dd3 will be sitting in 3 years time.

Yes she knew and was asking constantly when it was. I let her read the letter (after I'd read it first) and she let out a huge cheer. She'll miss her friends but was desperate to go to same school as Dd2. With the wonders of technology she'll always keep in touch and if she's anything like dd1 she'll make loads of new friends too.
