My head teacher gave my daughter 2:2 and to be honest I don't have very strong academic evidence so I am going to write about her hobbies and other achievement.

Stick to academic evidence - other things just dilute the evidence you do have.

I agree with Guest55, stokrotka. Reviews are handled very quickly (too quickly for my liking) so academic evidence needs to be the priority. I understand that you don't think you have strong academic evidence, but adding stuff about hobbies and anything else that isn't academic risks masking what you do have at best and at worst, highlighting the lack of academic evidence.

So no point to mention that she plays tennis tournaments and has blue belt in tae-kwondo, but these skills are showing self discipline, perseverance... and you learn Korean

Welcome to Appeals! :)

No point at all. The criterion is academic ability. A character reference is not required.
There is a clear explanation of what to do in the Q&As and in the Bucks sticky:
https://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/appea ... lification" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
https://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/forum ... 12&t=50029" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
..... and you learn Korean
Is there any evidence that she has achieved a high standard in Korean?

No, because those skills (the sporting ones) are not linked to academic achievement. Children of any academic ability would benefit from perseverance and self-discipline, they are traits suited to all types of education, not exclusive to those at a grammar school. Remember that a review is about proving suitability to a GS on the basis of academic evidence, not on the basis of a child's work ethic, diligence, etc.

Learning Korean can be a point to make, but have you got any evidence of attainment for example? I could say I've learned Japanese but in reality I can just about check in to a hotel and order a meal. You can see how a cynical panel might disregard it.

How about your first language (forgive me if I've remembered incorrectly, but it is Polish, isn't it?). Is English your daughter's first or second language?

I would like to add something about hobbies but I was just advice not to, shall I mention that she is well like and was elected as Vice House Captain and also this school is in walking distance but not sure if this is important.

Could you please keep all your posts to one thread?

Mods could one of you merge this pretty please?

Done!

Ask one of the mods to add this to your (new) appeal thread. It helps to keep it all in one place.

In summary, the answers to your questions are no, no and no. None of those things, despite being laudable, are relevant to your case.

I am sorry for messing around with my posts, thank you Etienne to moving me in one place.
Thank you for all advice, I thought I have to write a lot, maybe that's why last year I was unsuccessful. I can provide evidence for fluent Polish as she went to Saturday School. Everything is so difficult, need to think about this tomorrow, good night.
