2littleboys - you are amazing - despite being sad yourself at your review outcome, you are congratulating others

Hi
This is my first time of posting but have been lurking for some time whilst we made the decision whether to go for SR for my DD. Thanks to all of you for your words of wisdom. It's amazing to feel the support out there even when I wasn't brave enough to post at the time! It's humbling to see kind words from those of you with not so good news (echoing the thoughts for you 2littleboys!).
I wanted to post on this thread as we had a near identical situation to Posie (congratulations to your DS) with a score of 112 and no major extenuating circumstances. So this is to help anyone with a low score in the future. Very happy to be contacted if I can be of any help:
Score 112 (did not score 121 in any section)
Head teacher support 1:1 'without reservation' (Bucks primary)
Key stage 1 - maths 3c, reading and writing 3b
Predicted performance 111-120 and working at GDS
No major extenuating circumstances but we did include 1 sentence about a perfectionist youngest child feeling the pressure of having older siblings at GS. Quite simply, she did not perform in line with potential on the day.
We were beyond surprised to get a successful result and keep checking the letter to make sure! Thanks everyone - the Forum is invaluable.
