How does that work then? Are the boys brought in for entertainment/to wait on the girls/shown through a one-way glass?stroudydad wrote: They have the best of both worlds, single sex education, so none of the teenage bravado etc, but in an essentially coed environment

When DS1 joined the sixth form at one of the local girls' grammar schools, the Head of Sixth Form's talk included the line, 'Don't touch the green ones - they're not ripe', an allusion to the school uniform, which sixth formers didn't have to wear. Sadly, for the last time (he had apparently 'let it slip' one year and it had caused such merriment - yes, not horror and torrents of complaints - that he had left it in), since the next sixth form intake also had to wear uniform, which rather spoilt the joke.

Yes stroudydad it is Stroud High School. We were very impresses and without the lack of local school buses it would be the clear winner of all the schools, for our child. It's a great fit for her. Thanks

Despite being a strong advocate for co-ed I understand her decision. Nothing worse than uncertainty. Perhaps throw in what looks likely to be an easy appeal and only mention it if you’re successful
