Wilmington Grammar 2 stage Appeal
Morning All!
Now have a letter about our WGSB Appeal. It's in two parts? Looked here for info but it's quite general. Anybody have local advice or been to a two- stager? Do parents ask questions from the floor? Does it mean the panel won't discuss oversubsction in the second part when it's just us and the panel?
Thanks guys
Buck

Welcome!
Advice on appeals applies everywhere because it's a national system.
The only local difference is likely to be whether or not to have a grouped stage one with all the parents.
The normal agenda is:
https://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/appeals/general#a40" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It is dealt with at stage 1.
https://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/appea ... -school#c1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Stage 2 is your case. At stage 2 you counter the case for prejudice by putting forward your reasons for wanting or needing a place at the school.
https://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/appea ... -school#c2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The panel then has to decide (assuming the child is qualified) whether or not your reasons for wanting a place are strong enough to outweigh the school's case for prejudice.

They must certainly be given the opportunity.Do parents ask questions from the floor?
