And in the meantime start thinking about how you can evidence your child's academic ability / suitability for GS should you have to go to appeal.

Tests were definitely taking place at other centres as other venues were detailed on the letter. How would I find this out?

Thank you for the advice, yes I will do that. I’ll need to read through all the advice here to better understand what I need.

Have emailed the 11+ officer in the admissions service and requested that today’s incident be put on my daughters file. Many thanks everyone.

I cannot believe that! My sons is tomorrow and I’ll be asking if they have enough rubbers now and taking my own along! Hopefully it didn’t affect your daughter xx

Hi, my Son sat the test at LSS yesterday and he said EXACTLY the same thing. The letter stated he didn’t need anything.

This is unacceptable.

Surely someone could have gone to Tesco and bought a whole pile?

These students have worked so hard that it is really sad for them to be let down by an admin mistake like this. DG

I’m sorry to hear that your son has experienced the same problem it’s so disappointing isn’t it. Are you going to get it logged like others have advised here?
