Borderline scores Southend Grammars.
My son scored 302.7 in the 11+ and the cutoff mark for IC places is 303.
Does anyone know if it is worth appealing because WHSB will almost certainly not fill it's quota of places for IC residents and will offer them to OC candidates?
If so what kind of evidence should I present? I am not selling my son as a genius who had a bad day but he has made fantastic progress at school over the last 12 months and I have little doubt he could handle the workload. It would also make logistics because his sister attends WHSG.
I realise that the school will be inundated by indignant sharp elbowed parents during the application period and would like to present my case without any sense of entitlement.
