I was wondering if you had been successful at an appeal for oversubscription, could you share your examples for reasons for accepting your child. I'm sure every case is different but I'd like to see which arguments were successful. Thanks.

There is a ‘sticky’ at the top of the appeals board list of threads called ‘feedback from all areas’ - take a look at that. It has lots of info on actual appeals and if they were successful and sometimes why. It isn’t always clear why, but sometimes the parents have a good idea. Of course a lot of the reason for success is down to the guidance that has been written by the moderators
