Hello, Can we apply for slough grammar school even though the score is 110? We are in the priority catchment area.

In theory I think you can apply, but you won’t be offered a place as the qualifying score was not reached.
However once you’ve been rejected, you can then appeal.
I have no real knowledge of how many appeals are upheld for Slough, as we don’t really hear about them. I suspect they are few and far between, and suggest you ask the LA about how many successful appeals there have been in recent years.
(If you get any info on this please let us know).
In any case I think you need to be realistic about your chances of winning an appeal.
