Sorry this may seem like a random question but does anyone know how many counties still conduct Selection Reviews?
Thanks x

Not many, but it depends whether you mean counties as opposed to individual admission authorities.

Kent, Bucks, Wirral, North Yorkshire, Bexley, Medway come to mind. There may be one or two more.

However, any individual selective academy could run its own review process - it isn't necessarily county-wide.

Moreover, not all of them enforce "fair, consistent and objective" at a subsequent appeal.

thank you Etienne. surprised that still so many do this when schools are so oversubscribed.
Am I right to challenge the use of selection reviews by a county can only really be questioned by requesting a Judicial Review?

I'm not sure what grounds you would have for a JR.

Selection reviews are lawful.
