We received the results for our son yesterday for Bishops Wordsworth School Salisbury. The pass mark was 100 and our son achieved 99.16, in the tests before the exam he performed much better but we think nerves got the better of him on the day, after the exam he told us he had “mucked up 4 sections”. As he was so close is it worth trying to get the papers reviewed, if that is even possible.

Failing that does anyone have any experience of the appeals process for this school?

We are all feeling very despondent at the moment and because the result was so close it is worth. If he had missed out but 5 marks or so we could accept the result more easily.

Thank you in advance

Welcome to the forum, I am sorry to hear that you missed out by such a small margin, very frustrating! We don't have much in the way of posting from Salisbury but basically the process is the same, you have to apply to the school, get rejected in March and then appeal. Have a read of this: https://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/appeals and feel free to ask any questions
