Hi there

I phoned the Admissions Officer today at Langley Grammar School and was advised that the letters have gone out for the next round of offers (119). Fingers crossed for those who are eagerly waiting. :) :)

We live in hope!

Yes,I think they sent out 30 letters to the 119's.They have been requested to respond by the 25th march.
Does anyone know if it is usual to offer one mark at a time?
Apparently there are approx 19/20 then on 118!

Yes it is. If they offered more than one mark and got more children accepting than they have places, then what would they do (apart from hope that some higher up the list win appeals elsewhere)?

Some schools offer places to subsets of scores - so a 'looked after child' would get precedence over a 'child with sibling in school' who in turn would get it over... you get the idea.

Just thought I would post and advise that today letters are prepared and waiting for the collection by Mr Postman tomorrow for all those on the waiting list with 117.
Good Luck to those still waiting.

Hi there

I would call your LEA and confirm as they should have the official notification of the offer on their system.

Thanks
