Hi have a few questions-

Background- daughter scored 119. HT given 3:1 on the basis that she has mainly attained ‘working at expected standard (WA) rather than ‘working at greater depth’ (WG) since Year 2.

Standardised scores were-

Verbal- 115
Maths- 114
Non verbal- 135


1) school report from year 5 and this half term year 6 report has WG for reading. Can I argue that her marks in verbal are not indicative of her ability due to getting WG at school?

2) when I added the results it came to 119.75- is there any point adding this?

3) Bday is 21/08- is there any point adding this?

4) she won an external writing completion run by an author- is there any point adding this?

Yes (with evidence) - but it would be better if the school were to write it.

Not really - the system is the same for everyone. Marks (unfortunately) are rounded down.

No - I think the panel will just take the view that the result has been age standardised.
