Dartford Dad,
You say that your daughter is an August birthday.
The 11+ scores are standardised but the sats levels are not. You can get them translated into some figures but when you get a 4a or 5c etc, these are NOT standardised.
If your daughter was 2 weeks younger then she would get another year at primary school and therefore should get that level 5 being bright and one of the eldest in the class.
Sats are a measure of how well your daughter has been taught at school whereas VR and NVR are a measure of true intelligence and show potential. Your daughter's high scores prove natural intelligence and that she would benefit from a grammar education.

YIPPEE
Yippee.
We have just received the appeal results and our Daughter has been awarded a place at Wilmington Girls.
We have been excited waiting for the results, as we thought our appeal on the 2nd went very well, and we were encouraged by the immediate responces of both the Panel and the Head. We must have done well as She was awarded 1 of 15 places and there were 99 appeals.
THIS RESULT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE WITHOUT THE HELP AND ADVICE RECEIVED FROM THIS SITE.
Thanks to this site and its members our Daughter will now receive a Grammar School education.
My Wife and I would like to Thank all who offered help and encouragement.
Thanks again
One very happy Dartford Dad + Mum
