Appeal for out of county school

Hello all! Right after not getting through appeal for 11+ we are now concentrating on appealing for an out of county school which I believe is extremely popular! We have the appeal date for end of April plus we are also on the waiting list. What I wanted to Know is; what do I need to take with me, what do I need to say etc etc. Are these appeals similar to 11+ appeals? We've not been given much info.
