Post by AnSaPaYo »

Hi Everyone,
I am a new member to this wonderful forum, My DS will be sitting 11+ this year. we are in Hounslow/Twickenham area. Just a quick q…has anyone used Vocab building CD, was checking on it, its unavailable to buy at the moment, any ideas whether its worth looking for one, any advice would be appreciated. Also anyone else sitting in the area?

I have a feeling someone else posted something about a vocab CD recently, but I can't find that post at the moment.... In the meantime, there is a vocabulary practice on-line (free), which has been recommended by a few forum members, so perhaps worth trying: http://freerice.com/#/english-vocabulary/1391" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It felt like I hit rock bottom; suddenly, there was knocking from beneath... (anon.)

Hi Ansapayo

Sorry I can't help with any feedback about the CD as we haven't use it.
My Dd will take the exam this September.We used Farquhar'a flash cards.
They are a bit expensive but we find them really good. They are about 5 packs. You can also purchase flash cards from Amazon.
Good luck!
