Did anyone get confirmation from waiting list? I do not see any movement in the waiting position.

After a late application to AGS my ds achieved 238 (not quite AQS for KES) we were offered a place last Friday which we accepted. He was 2nd on the waiting list then went down to 3rd before our offer. He remained 21st on KES list. Whilst in contact with admissions I believe they were aiming for 1st April for 2nd round of offers.

That’s great Apj-Warks!

I love hearing about anyone getting places at AGS - makes me wonder if any of your dc’s will be friends with my ds :D

Apj-warks, congrats to your son.

Sent back the online information on Friday, didn't want to risk leaving it :)

All becoming more real now.

Do you think there’ll come a point where they tell us what class they’re in, German or Spanish etc or is this more likely to be revealed to them if and when they go to induction? Think I need to change my mindset to being the one who receives the information from ds, rather than it being sent straight to me

Last year, they found out what form they were in and subsequently which language group they were in on Induction Day, which ended up being postponed until 1 September. Fingers crossed they get their Induction Day this term!

Just to let you know, our friend's DD was offered a place at AGS from the waiting list today. She was 16th on the list with a score of 221. Missed the first allocation on distance from school, so as you can imagine they are so pleased to have finally been offered a place!
