London is a large city though. Surely, the boy's parents must live in Central London?
Last year, I had to travel to Central London twice a week. Would hop off at Euston and spend a couple of hours at the IOE. Couldn't see my folks who live in London though, as it was another 1 hr + journey time to see them and couldn't meet dh (also in London) either, as it was another 1 hr on top of that!
Do feel for the lad commuting on a daily basis, even if it's to and fro, Central London.
