11 Plus Exams Forum

Pâtés or Kes? Can anyone offer any advice on these two schools?

I'm not an expert on either, but we used to live in Cheltenham and Pates has an amazing reputation. The results speak for themselves and I believe it sends alot to Oxbridge.
I've only been to one open day at KES and so you would be much better asking others on this site, but again it seemed an amazing school steeped in history and producing wonderful boys.

Thankyou. We are in a very fortunate position but finding the decision difficult! Kes is much nearer to where we live but Pâtés achieve better results and is mixed.

Pates I would opt for if the distance is not too far.
