KES Stratford Shakespeare's Schoolroom open to the public

Just FYI, KES Stratford have announced they are open to the public, during the Easter holidays, 2014, on the following days. For those of you who have not been to the Shakespeare Birthday Parade, it is a pretty impressive spectacle (be aware many of the roads in Stratford are shut) and, if you visit the school, you help raise funds for sporting activities too!
King Edward VI School (Shakespeare’s School) is hosting a limited number of open days over the Easter holidays 2014. Current students will be giving guided tours of the Medieval Guildhall including the schoolroom where William Shakespeare was taught and the place where he first saw professional theatre. The Guildhall was also the building in which William’s father, John Shakespeare, served as Stratford’s Bailiff (Mayor) in 1568. These rooms are still in use by the school today so don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to hear the history of the building bought to life by the current students who are fundraising for their sports provision. Entry is £2.50 for adults and £1.50 for concessions.
Opening times are;
Friday 18th April 12.30-3.30pm
Saturday 19th April 12.30-3.30pm
Monday 21st April 12.30-3.30pm
Wednesday 23rd April 12.30-3.30pm
Thursday 24th April 12.30-3.30pm
Friday 25th April 12.30-3.30pm
Saturday 26th April 12-5pm (Shakespeare's Birthday Parade is in Stratford in the morning from about 10 am)
The Guildhall can be found on Church Street, close to Nash's House in the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon.
