Yep, that's her SB3 - she travelled from Coventry to London as part of the cultural Olympiad before the games in 2012. Amazing engineering :)

Here she is - http://www.stratford-herald.com/24843-t ... tions.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Especially for southbucks3 and anyone else who missed it, there are some pictures of the birthday parade here:

And this video has Godiva in all her glory (?!):

Thank you :)
Love the big cake.
Would have been much nicer with lots of photos of the beautiful youth of the town though, rather than what I presume are "officials" that need a bit of recognition. :roll:

The video is fab...Well done the Herald, I like the way godivas drivers go a bit coy. :lol:

Where on earth do they store godiva....in an aircraft hangar?

Sorry, a bit late to join the party as I've been trying to wean myself off this forum (unsuccessfully by the looks of it). I found these photos on the Coventry Telegraph site yesterday:

DS really loved it but was very embarrassed by the size of the posy I gave him. 3 doughnuts care of FoKES and a cake care of Stratford College more than made up for his embarrassing mother I think (no wonder they have to play so much rugby!). Actually all the boys looked quite embarrassed having to hold posies!! :lol: What a proud day it was though.

Awwww it all looks fantastic! We went to the Globe for the birthday celebrations and had a really great time but would love to go to his school room - crossing my fingers that it'll be open again soon.

For those of you interested in Shakepeare's Schoolroom, there is a short film on the link below, showing what a fantastic building it is! There is currently a bid into the Heritage Lottery Funding to raise funds to open it to the Public. The school have just announced that Prince Charles will be visiting on Monday 2nd June to hear all about the bid and visit the Schoolroom for himself!

If anyone's still interested in seeing the Schoolroom, I spotted it was open yesterday to raise money for the school's Edinburgh Fringe Festival drama performance - sorry it's a bit late!

There were signs up in Stratford, but the only other way I saw it advertised was on the school's Twitter feed https://twitter.com/KES_Stratford" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
