You never know across multiple threads on here people have said that LSS dont get enough byoys from within the priority area so there are opportunities for OOC also. If you are on the southern end of the CV5 postcode isnt Finham Park an option for you?

Good luck.
Thanks
I think finham park 2 is definitely going as an option for us.
We are 1.2miles off the school in straight line, does anyone has any historical data as to how furthest the place has been allocated

Are you near blue coats as that supposed to be v good

Hi
Thanks for that, Is there a way to find out what was the furthest distance offered a place for particular school if its not in our catchment area. I am particularly interested in finham park 2 and kenilworth school.

Kenilworth offered out to 3.9 miles for DC outside their priority area. I have no idea about Cov schools, but it's prob on their admissions website.

If I give my first choice as AGS and second as Finham park 2 school, what happens if I reject my first choice due to accessibility issues (in case I get the offer) and want the second choice. Will rejecting the first choice jeopardise my chances for second choice. Please advise .
Thanks

If you are offered your first choice and reject it, you will not be offered your second choice. Admissions assume you want your first choice so automatically withdraw any lower ranked schools. You would then have to ask to be put on the waiting list of your new first choice and take your chance with everyone else. Always complete your CAF with your real choices in your preferred order ...

Hi
Now that we are inclined to put AGS as our first choice, brings to our second challenge of finding the transport from Coventry to Alcester. Not Sure if there is another thread for this but please point me in the right direction if possible.
I understand in the long run we would have to move closer to school but initially we would have to rely on the transport.
thanks

Hi
Looks like my IT skills have lot to be desired.
For some reasons when I am trying to fill my CAF from Coventry council website, its giving me only 3 choice of school ,
where as somewhere in forum I saw option of 6 choices,
Please correct me if I am wrong, I have stopped my CAF till I find out with council tomorrow morning, If anyone has any idea please let me know as well.
Thanks
