High scores, no offer

Hello, has anybody who had a score that more than qualified for a place but did not get an offer heard anything from WCC?

No not yet, we’ve been told it will be by Friday. The bubbles are on hold until then!

I have had various responses ranging from we will get back to you at some point to this week to someone saying if we have made a mistake we will put it right! What score did your child get and which school are you hoping for?

244 - hoping for KES.

Niece got 229 - refused AGS.

Hi my DD got 233 and AGS was our first choice, this has surely got to be a mistake that is rectified on both parts. I shall be calling WCC daily for an update despite them saying they will sort it out

The letter with the data has finally arrived here. Not sure if this will help those with high scores as evidence of a mistake.

Apparently any discrepancies have now gone to the schools to make decisions on.

We have also been advised by Warwickshire that they will let us know by Friday 9th (231 refused at AGS)
Have resent all correspondence previously sent regarding proof of address - it all meets the stated criteria
We will be going through a similar process in a couple of years for our second child hence our need to be absolutely clear on how this has happened
Just want to get it sorted asap so we can be clear on our choices and also for all others who may be impacted by this
