I have found the FOI data again. Search the FOI disclosure log for 'admissions' and the info about top 200 scores is available. The spreadsheet has many columns shrunk down but they can be opened up again to show the data. Can see the breakdown of VER/NUM/NVR.

I think that top 200 scores sheet is only those who put a Warks grammar on the CAF.

Hi, I hope that this helps.......my DS is in Y7 at AGS and there are two children in his class who scored 210. One who gained their place just before the start of term and the other who joined a few weeks in due to a no show! According the last years stats, that means that AGS offered down to around place 1140. Of course this is just what happened last year but it might help someone out there? So that's 5 point below the original AQS.

Could the lower scores be due to the fact that they were pupil premium though? They take a certain percentage of children who score up to 10 marks below the qualifying score.

As far as I’m aware, AGS don’t have an allowance for pupil premium, unlike KES and SGGS......

What could be plausible reasons for High scores this time? - is it just the High scorers that have posted or increase in Total attainable marks or just that kids have performed well? Really worried on 228 score making through to KES list even by June next year.

Just more children taking the test I think.
I'm already feeling sorry for my son in 2 years time. That is apparently a massive year group!

I think it's a bumper year, but also there's no way of knowing how many Birmingham families used the data sharing option purely to obtain more information on their score. Until March 1st we won't really know, sadly.

An odd request for the topic listed.
A friend of mine (not in Forum) is planning to shift to Stratford from Leamington Spa as she is confident of her boy's place in KES (249 marks). Could any body with similar experience pls advice. She has been in Leamington Spa for 3 years and not very keen on moving. If any body can advice pls - are both places at par on what they offer?

There are no grammar schools in Leamington Spa - you have to go to Stratford or Rugby from there. There are buses to KES from Leamington (I have a friend in Radford Semele who is hoping her son will go there). No need to move house!
