It’s gone a bit quite recently, but I hope there will be a bit more activity from tomorrow when the waiting list positions are released.

It will be useful, if anyone who is talking to the admissions office and is happy to share can update with their positions / movement during the 3 reallocation rounds. It will also help parents in future years to see how the wait list moves for each of the schools.

I’ll update DD’s info tomorrow (School/Score/Position).

Good luck to everyone, from previous experience of the process (this is the 3rd time for my children going through the 11+) we will all benefit of a bit of group support through the next few weeks/months.

May the waiting lists move quickly for us all.......

Hi, Thanks for opening a new thread. How do we know the waiting list place (queue number)? Do we need to call WCC admissions or can we see it on Synergy portal? Thanks, S

There are also out of catchment and late applicants added to the waiting list, so unlikely to be all on 233.

The lower the score the more likely it is that more boys will be on it. And historically around the 230s there is always a bulge cluster. Your position on the waiting list may drop further as late applicants/ooc are added as the picture changes every day.

Has anyone got historical outcomes please?

The process seems to be a little different this year.

New applications – or changes to existing applications – received after 11th March will be considered as outlined below.
Second Reallocation Round
Cut-off date for new applications to be considered in second reallocation round, including any changes to
an existing application 11.59pm on Wednesday 1st April 2020
Second reallocation round to commence Wednesday 8th April 2020

I read that as your position is fixed now until the 1st reallocations are complete. Then any new applicants are added, prior to the 2nd reallocation round starting?

Yes that does sound different to previous years. Makes sense - may have been made in response to the introduction of catchments in Birmingham.
