6 weeks and counting.

Only 6 weeks now until 'offers day'

I'm hoping it will coincide with the reopening of the schools!

Yes I also have the same hope!! I think after half term may be too soon but as govt have said they’re prioritising reopening schools, beginning of March is a realistic target.

It would be lovely if they were actually able to be in school on that day and get the experience of all discussing where they’re going etc.

My mind keeps skipping ahead to thinking "if all is ok on the 1st March I wonder when we'll then get direct contact from the schools themselves?" - have to keep shoving myself and saying not to get ahead of myself. I don't want to wish the time away, but when we're all stuck at home anyway it's very hard not to!!

Me too. I think the chances of it are reasonable...perhaps they’ll need to have a lateral flow test on the morning of or similar?

That wouldn’t be a bad idea.

It’s surprising that this forum and the Birmingham one are so quiet!

We still don’t seem to have any info regarding the lowest scores accepted into each of the schools!

Yes it’s very odd isn’t it - there are years where I’ve silently followed in previous intakes and the forum has been bustling. Maybe it’s a low birth year.

I keep checking on Warks council to see if the other lady’s FOI request has been answered; last time I checked there was still nothing.

Less than 4 weeks to go now! Time seems to be ticking along slowly in lockdown, and this is the most exciting thing I have to look forward to! :)
