Lawrence sheriff - out of catchment - waiting List
Hi,
My son scored AQS 215, but we are in out of catchment to LSS.
Currently he is in Waiting List 14.
Any thoughts, if he has any serious chance of getting offer for this school?

You may find your best bet is to speak to the LEA and ask if they can tell you how many waiting list places were offered in previous years, but I don't know if they'll give this information. Perhaps the school would know, but again they may not give this out.
I would imagine your chances are borderline - they may offer that many waiting list places as people take up offers elsewhere (or go private), but as you're out of catchment anyone who moves into catchment with a score above the AQS will be put above you on the list. I wouldn't lose hope, but be realistic about other options. Best of luck.
