How to express opposition to the new admissions policy-
Moderators: Section Moderators, Forum Moderators
Jacquie: I am with you on this issue. I will express my concerns to LSS as a father with one son at LSS and 2 younger brothers who would like to follow their older brother but now find themselves potentially OOC.
The only communication I have received from LSS on this matter is in attached "Weekly Word."

You beat me to it...I just 'pm'ed you-I found out on Thursday, that was the 'letter', to which the lady was referring. Although not as dramatic as the lady had said, I still think it is hopeful, as you said in the other thread, that they are keeping powder dry...softly softly...all future pupils may then benefit in the end, girls as as well as boys ...

Not convinced that complaining to the Adjudicator will be fruitful. However, those individuals with a grievance SHOULD lodge their complaint/objection with Warwickshire County Council (WCC) Admissions as part of the consultation period (see links below) and the Rugby grammar schools (Head Teacher and Chair of Governors) as requested by WCC Admissions.

Link to submit consultation responses:

WCC site states that consultation period ends on 6-March-09.
However RHS website claims their consultation period ends on 13-February-09.
