I haven't read this article either because this kind of article is far too much superficial... And by the way, this kind of theory change with time. For instance, in term of language use and gender theories, we have thankfully moved away from Professor Robin Lakoff's theory like this one ( this is academic work dating from 1975, so not at all the Daily Mail!):
