She will be alright in Chatham.inkypinkyponky wrote:She then asked if we'd mind if she left having her first baby until she was 14. We told her that 14 was too young but it depended which part of Gravesend you lived in!
DS1 Yr7 Last idea was to be a solicitor. I find it a bit sad that a 11yr old boy wants to be a solicitor. They should want to be pilots, train drivers, popstars, or lumberjacks.
DD1 Yr 5 Last Friday. a vet, Sat. a hairdresser, Sun. a waitress, Mon. a teacher, Tues a solicitor!
When he was six,DS2 wanted to be a spitfire pilot during the week whilst writing childrens books at weekends (too much Roald Dahl me-thinks !)
On alternate weekends he was planning on popping down to Australia & carrying orphaned wallabies around in a handbag ! Too many TV nature programmes too
DS3 aged 4,asked me yesterday what I was going to be when I grew up

I have had many a chuckle reading this thread!!
DS1 (11) wants to do "something with numbers" (that figures - he won a maths scholarship to Fettes College!)
DS2 (9) wants to play football for Man Utd, but will drive home in his "Bugatti" after every match, so he can be with mum!!.
Incidentally his football coach believes he can make a career out of football, so who knows, but I have explained to him that that his ambition is a tall order.
DS3 (4) wants to "be the boss of everyone !!"
