I admit I haven't watched tennis since the days of John Mackenroe & Bjorn Borg-oh happy days..........
We were at our GS welcome evening last night & the Head & many of the parents were definately in a hurry to get home to watch though !

I was there!!!

Gosh, i'm exhausted! What a nail biter of a finish. Being inside with floodlights was great if a little sweaty! Great atmosphere. With the crowd behind him Murray should go all the way to the final, sadly I'm not so sure though!

Me jealous too!

DH and I have only ever been to Wimbledon once, like you we had tickets for Centre Court on the second Monday. It was in 1993, and we saw Andre Agassi (with ponytail!), Boris Becker, Henri Leconte (swoon!), Richard Kracijek, Helena Sukova and Aranxa Sanchea amongst others. Also spotted Martina N through a window in the old Court 1. I was very pregnant with DD1 and at one point while walking about in the crowd I stopped suddenly and turned around for some reason, and almost knocked Sue Barker over with my enormous bump. Funny thing is I didn't even notice her, I just wondered why DH was looking mortified.. :?

A happy memory - I would love to go again some day. 8)
