my children used to love playing " I went to the witches market." at 4 you may not be a ble to play it with a lot of children .

Just like i went to market and bought, but witchy

so i went to the witches market and bought a slimy toad

next person I went to the witches market and bought, a bats wing and a slimy toad

a spiders web , a bats wing and a slimy toad etc.

My son's contributions tended to be on the revolting side, with bodily functions high on the agenda

Continuing the sausages as shrivelled fingers idea, I tried it last time with frankfurters cut in half and then a fingernail shaped piece of the skin removed from the rounded ends - revoltingly realistic!

How about the "Remember what's on the Tray" game - 60 secs to try and memorise about 20 items - could be all sorts of gory things! We usually play the chocolate ion flour game too - break up a bar of chocolate and place the bits in flour on a tray. Then each child takes a turn to try and get a piece without using their hands - inevitably they end up with their face covered! (Make sure you put a plastic sheet down first!). Of course, you could add a few "worms" etc for good measure!
