If LO manages to take on the mantle of humility as Portillo did, he might even become interesting for all the right reasons.

I met Michael Portillo many years ago and spent around half an hour talking to him. Pompous, arrogant and in the specific situation (a bomb hoax due to his presence), scared out of his underpants. :lol:

People who know him well now say that he went through a total transformation when he lost the Enfield seat. I gather that he is now an exceptionally fascinating raconteur with a wide range of interests that draw on his immense intellect.

I suppose that LO might fall at the first hurdle though. "Cheeky Girls" and "immense intellect" don't really work well together!
