Best not even go there and not just with education . Probably accounts for far too big a percentage of countries current overdraft.There is a h**l of a lot of wastage though, much of it in 'new initiatives' which have little impact on the actual quality of education delivered, based as they are on political whim rather than robust research,

Is changing the name from school to academy or is setting up new free schools really any more than new initiatives?
I don't think so, it's another wannabe vote winning costly exercise that won't help the deficit in my humble opinion
