Re: No Ofsted for Outstanding schools?
Great post ews147
I have been in an identical situation. Too often, I have seen poor assessment by those who should know better. All too often, it is people playing politics with other peoples careers.
I had an ofsted inspection where my deputy head observed the same lesson (against my wishes). Ofsted rated me Good and my deputy head rated me unsatisfactory (we had a clash of personality!) I must admit I lauged when oftsed rated the schools leadership as unsatisfactory, sacked the head, but amazingly left the rubbish deputy head in post.
Unfortunately, inspection can be a bit of a lottery.
