We had a bumper Quince crop. Proper quinces, the larger-than-a-pear-but-knobbly-and-slightly-furry type, that perfume the whole room, not japonica quinces. I've since found out my partner doesn't like the texture (a bit gritty, like pears) once cooked, and they're too tart to eat raw (well, I eat them raw, but I'm just odd).

Apple & quince crumble last night, might make some Quince Honey.

Ended up taking most of them to a farm shop for them to sell on.

You can make membrillo, Capers - which is lovely with cold meat and cheeses. DH made bucketloads of the stuff last year and all the people he dumped it on, I mean gave it to, have asked for more this year. Smells nice when it's cooking too. Not sure if it is the same as quince jelly - I think so but more solid.

My understanding is that a partial quote from an article is OK, so I suggest that you post away.

I suspect that recipe writers rather like their recipes to be passed on, TBH! It wouldn't be this one, would it?

If you can find a link on the website and post it that is definitely no problem with copyright.
