Re: Jamie's Dream School
I watched this with my 15-year-old (she was the one who wanted to see it) and she was horrified by the behaviour. Some of it you almost had to watch with your hands covering your face as it lived up (down?) to every classroom cliche of bad teenage behaviour.
I do wonder how/why the 'students' were chosen. Some were, no doubt, just after their 15 minutes of TV fame but I got no impression that a single one of them was there with the real intention of working and making the most of the opportunity. The egotism and sense of self-importance was breath-taking and I pitied the real teachers who'd had to deal with them day after day, month after month.
