That sounds very sophisticated. We had to make do with weak 'basic value brand' orange squash.

The children get a plastic cup of tap water from a 'Value Lemonade' bottle - parents are 'reminded that drinks and snacks are not permitted at the trackside.' :(

Ho ho .Where's Sherry anyway ? I think either nursing a twisted ankle after elbowing her way to the front in the mums race...and let's face it we know she was probably wearing her high heels or maybe taking a leaf out of Doodles book and preparing a nice big jug of pimms. Mmmmmm

Sherry persuaded them all to add a little competition to the event this year and they are all still out after dark completing their ultra-marathon Kent traverse.

They cancelled the sports day which was to be held this afternoon because of predicted weather. I am amazed that they take the weather forecast seriously

We now have it next week and I had to cancel my appointment to fit it in next week. I wonder if they put any thoughts before just changing these things willy nilly.

I have been busy shopping for a tutu that I shall wear to the sports day
