I refuse to believe that any sane parent would ever do anything like that. Are these actual examples? Because if they are then my appreciation of the human race has fallen by a few degrees.

Sub-zero might cover it INEX. All the examples are quoted from direct experience - mine or that of my immediate friends. There are some even worse ones that I haven't quoted, as they were reported to me by third parties, so could (hopefully, please let it be the case) be apochryphal.

Oh how I recognise this behaviour and worse! I've re written this reply three times now as even several years after the event I get het up over the evil comments made by some parents about my children one of whom failed and the other passed.
Sally Anne is quite correct INEX I'm sad to say.
