Unexpected Success Coming - I can smell it

Post by SilverGirl »

Hiya, 8)

I'm using my mums account and I need to 'express' my feelings.

I did the Notting Hill And Ealing High test, and I really thought I did badly. But I got into the interview stage :!:
I did the City Of London School For Girls test. I did even worse. But I got into the interview stage :!:
I also did the Harrodian test. Now, for that I did so bad, I was 99.9% certain I wouldn't get to do the interview. I bet you can guess what's coming next . . . I also got into the interview for that! So much for my '0.1%' chance I'd do the interview!

I haven't heard from any other schools so I'm hoping I did that well on those tests.
But I might not get in because maybe on the other tests there was less bright children. Maybe, but let's hope it's my intelligence - right people?!

You may be wondering why I sound like I'm 100% sure I'll pass the interviews. Well, it's just because I'm not nervous or anything. The actual test is what I'm scared of!

Fingers crossed for me,
Hana

Good luck with your interviews!

If, in the interviews, you come across as well as you did in your posting, then I'm sure you'll pass.

Oh its been busy, busy, busy these days. Interviews, exams, RESULTS!

Ok, so I guess you're dying to hear where I got in ( if someone is reading this at all!)

So, I got into EVERY SINGLE PRIVATE school I applied for! Putney, Notting Hill and Ealing, Latymer, Godolphin, Harrodian, City of London and even . . . ST PAULS! :o

Im so happy and I never thought Id do this well!

Whereas for comprehensive schools, Im not so happy. :?
Im quite far down on the waiting list for Tiffin, I didnt get into Holland Park ( only because I dont live so near!), I dont know about Lady Margarets yet. I only know I havent got in, but I may be on the waiting list. Not a very big chance though. :(

Oh well, Im very pleased a bout the private school results and I think Ill be going to St Pauls because its such a huge opportunity!

See ya!
