ARGHHH!MOVING SCHOOLS!!!!

Post by suttoncoldfield »

HI, :D

Could anyone please reccomend good schools in sutton coldfield...That is primary too.It is for my DS who is moving to another one.
After researching myself I cam across one named Boldmere Junior School which I think is quite a good school.My concerns are the waiting list-does anyone have an idea of how long they would be?And is it too late to put my son's name on a waiting list for September?Can I put his name on the waiting list in the summer holidays?

Thanks in advance,I am quite worried! :? :?

the waiting list for a specific year would be dependent on a) whether the year group is full b) how many others are waiting.

You need to apply to the LEA as an in year transfer I think - they will allocate a school if your preferred school is full. Depending on where this is you may have to consider keeping him at his old school and hope a place comes up nearer.

I am sure you have seen this but here is the link: http://www.birmingham.gov.uk/cs/Satelli ... plications" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
