Mr Brown has declared that Education will his top priority and passion. He is is favour Academy schools and will contiune with Mr B's vision. What at the implications for us parents?

of course that will have the effect of house prices going crackers - Gargrave Road will be more expensive than Knightsbridge......

Yes, I was walking up Gargrave Road the other day............. truly beautiful, Ermysteds must be one of the most magnificent school buildings in the country!!

It might also mean that the private and independant sectors will be able to put their fees up as more parents may choose to opt out of state education. On the other hand the Academy system may be successful. We await to see in Peterborough what happens because they are streaming on NVR.

Brown is Scottish

Why are the English allowing a foreigner to lead the country.

When was the last time this happened?

Scotland, Ireland and Wales are already over-represented in the English parliament in the proportion of MPs to the electorate in the respective countries.

How many English people are represented by English MPs in the Scottish parliament or the Welsh and Irish assemblies even though large numbers of English people live and work in those countries.

We know the Queen of England, long may she reign, has had issues with recent Prime Ministers, she should demand that any leader of the "commons" should be English.
